In only it’s 3rd year over 4,000 visited the Birmingham NEC hosted event during 24th & 25th November. It was also the first year featuring the Paediatric Trail, of which the CleverstiX.com RUS Stand 22 was a part.
Of course the CleverstiX Jellybean Challenge was a prominent part of the events! Attracting higher footfall than ever, it proved yet again to be a fun, practical way to validate the benefits of CleverstiX for users. And the free sweets on offer for all participants was a of significant appeal too!
Despite CleverstiX already being endorsed by various paediatric Occupational Therapists (OTs), and having a glowing review from the National Handwriting Association, we were absolutely elated with the response to our Child Development Cutlery – particularly from OTs working with children diagnosed with Dyspraxia/DCD and Autism/ASD.
As experts in their field many OTs were particularly interested in how much more effective CleverstiX were compared to the ‘Tweezer Gripper’ style tools they used currently use for Fine Motor development. Many of the questions we entertained related to the CleverstiX ‘No Spring Back‘ design and how that impacted the intensity of the user’s improvement in dexterity.
In addition CleverstiX attracted a lot of interest from the industry press, media and other organisations including the College of Occupational Therapists (COT SS), Cerebra and OT Magazine so expect to see CleverstiX reviews and features in OT-related publications soon in 2016!
