CleverstiX.com exhibited at its first ever Consumer Show during last month, with its presence at The Baby Show, NEC Birmingham featuring CleverstiX at bargain show-only special offer prices.
And transition of the CleverstiX Jellybean Challenge from Trade Show to Consumer Show had a big impact with well over 200 visitors taking part!
The 30 second challenge captured the imagination of kids and grown-ups alike as they participated in the event attempting to pick up and put into a sweetie bag as many jellybeans as possible within the half a minute time limit.
During the 3 day show the Challenge proved a great way to demonstrate the value of the CleverstiX product as parents, grandparents and others could see the immediate impact using CleverstiX had on children’s concentration, whilst also proving just how quickly kids could adapt to using them!
Many onlookers noted just how focussed youngsters were while taking part in the Challenge, effectively replicating how engaged with their meals infants typically become when enjoying the use of our Child Development Cutlery. Witnesses also observed how the pincer grip movement was key to operating CleverstiX – which of course in turn intensely develops the fine motor strength that is such a key benefit from usage. However most evident of all was the FUN kids had while using their CleverstiX!
We also received considerable amount of feedback from a number of parents and grandparents of children with Dyspraxia DCD and/or Autism who, after visiting our Stand, really became rather thrilled by how potentially beneficial they thought our products could be for their children. A common theme was hearing stories of how children toiled with, or could not use, conventional cutlery but how they were excited about the potential CleverstiX could provide for them. Many explained that for their children who might usually use their fingers to eat, CleverstiX could be ideal since they almost act as an extension of their fingers in the way they work. As a result of this feedback CleverstiX.com have in contact with some Dyspraxia DCD and Autism charities and support organisations to have our products evaluated and tested accordingly.
Clare Convoy from the Theodora Children’s Charity also took a close interest in CleverstiX, and took some back for the kids who benefit from this extremely worthwhile cause.
In addition to walking away with their sweets, and the considerable number of CleverstiX purchased, CleverstiX Jellybean Challengers were also invited to take part in our KEN HOM PRIZE DRAW. Participants had the chance to win a personally signed cook book “100 Quick Stir Fry Recipes” and ‘Tao Plus’ 4-piece Wok Set, again kindly donated by our endorser Mr Hom OBE.
As announced at the end of last month the lucky Prize Draw winner was Lindsay Mayes from Derbyshire, drawn from a total of 348 entrants. Congratulations Lindsay!
Meanwhile competition to record the highest CleverstiX Jellybean Challenge was fierce with Donna Milbourn, Victoria Ricketts and Tazeem all being the earlier pace-setters with excellent totals of 24 jellybeans in just 30 seconds. However this was later equalled by Michael Hall, and indeed pipped by Paula England with 25. However the clear winner was Abigail Hetherington who actually equalled our All-Time top score by recording an incredible rate of one jellybean per second to register 30 jellybeans in the allotted time. A very well done to Abigail! We hope you enjoyed all those jellybeans!
There were also a huge number of satisfied customers at our Stand G91, taking advantage of the Special Baby Show Offer prices on all our versions of CleverstiX.
